Forsyth Black
Forsyth’s 19 year career at John Menzies plc saw him become the Chief Executive Officer and President of Menzies Aviation until 2019, presiding over 3 consecutive years of record profits and margins.

The majority of Forsyth’s Menzies Aviation career focused on strategy, commercial and operations, conceiving, opening and running several businesses and joint ventures, including all Menzies operations in Africa and India. He also led the completion of the $202m acquisition of ASIG, the world’s largest into-plane fueller, from BBA plc including debt refinancing and leading a £75m rights issue.

As the Managing Director of Menzies Distribution, one of the UK’s foremost logistics and delivery providers, Forsyth transformed a structurally declining business to stability and growth, allowing John Menzies plc to subsequently divest the division for £75m to Endless LLP.

Forsyth is a qualified management accountant and MBA (University of Edinburgh) and before his career at Menzies, Forsyth worked for Sky TV, Boehringer Mannheim Pharmaceuticals (now part of Roche) and Marley plc.
